These terms apply when you buy anything from this website. Please read them before you buy — by completing a purchase you agree to them.
You are buying from Daniel Edlund, a sole proprietor based in Los Angeles, California, United States. There is no company behind this — it is one person. You can reach me at daniel@danieledlund.com, and I answer my own email.
Payments are processed by Gumroad, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record for digital purchases. In practice that means Gumroad takes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles sales tax and VAT wherever it is due. Gumroad's own terms apply to that part of the transaction alongside these terms.
I never see or store your card details. They go to Gumroad's payment processor and never touch this website.
All prices are in US dollars. If your bank shows you a different currency, that is their conversion, not mine.
The guides are digital PDF files. Nothing physical is posted to you. After payment you receive a download link by email, usually within a minute or two.
When you buy a guide you get a personal licence to use it. You may:
You may not resell it, republish it, post it publicly, share the file or your download link, or reproduce parts of it commercially. These guides took years to write and are the product itself.
A consultation is thirty minutes of my time, by video or phone, at a time we agree. You will get a written summary afterwards. Consultations are general nutrition and cooking education based on your circumstances — they are not a medical appointment, and nothing said on the call is a diagnosis or a treatment plan.
If you need to move a booked call, tell me at least 24 hours beforehand and we will find another time at no cost. Refund terms for consultations differ from the guides — see the Refund Policy.
I am not a doctor, a registered dietitian, or a licensed medical professional. I am a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef with a background in personal training and nutrition. Everything I sell is educational.
Nothing here diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional who knows your history.
Speak to your physician before making significant changes if you have any health condition, are pregnant or nursing, take prescription medication, or have a history of disordered eating. This matters especially for anything in the supplement guide — supplements can interact with medication.
I make no promise about results. Food, training and health depend on far too many things I cannot see from here. What I can promise is that the material is what I honestly believe to be true and useful, and that where the evidence is weak I say so.
If something in a guide turns out to be inaccurate, tell me and I will correct it and reissue that guide to everyone who bought it, at no charge. That is the remedy I offer and the one I would want.
To the extent the law allows, my liability for any claim relating to these products is limited to what you paid for them. I cannot be responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
Where I link to somebody else's site, I do not control what is on it and cannot be responsible for it.
I may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published on the day you bought. Changes are posted on this page with the date at the top.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Nothing here removes any right you have under consumer law in your own country that cannot be signed away.
